My professor asked us where we had left off last class and some mumbled answers may have come out - I don't remember. Then she said, "Don't worry about answering; it was a rhetorical question." We barely respond. A few beats later she continues, "One of these days someone's going to give me a rhetorical answer." (My brain smiled.) I tried to think of what a rhetorical answer might be and lucky for me she added, "An answer that needs no question!" in a kind of absent-minded way. Then my face smiled. Ah-ha, I said. I haven't set my brain to actually think of this yet because I imagine it will require all my faculties. I'm excited to work on this.
