Today someone told me I looked elegant. :) I'm sure I didn't REALLY really but I was feeling good about how I looked so it's always nice when my perception lines up with someone else's. (48)
On Friday someone asked when I graduated high school. I told her it was 2002 and she said, "Oh, OK so you're independent," and followed with something, "I just needed to know what your status/situation was."
Oh man, I was beaming inwardly. I liked the word choice, I liked the speed at which she drew that conclusion and I liked her benefit of the doubt. I am not sure I have EVER felt vindication like this before. (49)
