My health these past three weeks has cost me an unexpected $170 and kept me from much of my normal activity, including (deep) thinking and (good) sleep.
But I don't even care.
Today is the most magnificent day.
I have been so excited about Easter. I have been so looking forward to celebrating Easter with my family. And today we did. This morning we sang and shouted and clapped because of how good the Lord is and how perfect and powerful and needed the Resurrection is.
Oh. So good.
Three believers were baptised. It stirred my heart to witness my brothers and sister in the Lord make a public declaration of their allegiance to Christ and of their putting their whole faith in Him. Staking their whole life on Him. Just mesmerising. So glorious. I felt privileged to be present.
What more can I say? What can I add? How much fun we had as a music team? How much fun it is to do good work and to work hard as a music team? How liberating and expressive it was to dress up because today is the specialest of all special occasions?
Even the fellowship before and after service, good friends and new friends. We smile big because He is risen indeed. I should write more later but I think there's still a lot of day yet to live.
